Data centre accommodation in Kent
Kent — England
Kent's data centre scene splits across two very different sites, and each pulls crews in its own direction. At Kent Science Park near Sittingbourne, Sota Solutions runs its Sota 810 and Sota F25 datacentres, hosting the kind of hall upgrades, fire-suppression installs and network migrations that keep teams on site for months. Further east near Sandwich, Cyberfort's The Bunker at Ash occupies a former radar station — a hardened facility whose works attract specialist contractors who may need SC-level peace of mind. KrewBase houses both crowds in proper rented homes rather than coast hotels, shortlisting by drive time to the gate at shift-change hours. Every property is bills-inclusive, van-friendly and booked for stays measured in weeks and months. Share the facility name, crew size and expected duration, and we will have options back within two hours.
Where crews stay for Kent data centre work
Sota crews usually base themselves in Sittingbourne or Faversham, both under ten minutes from Kent Science Park, with the M2 corridor giving a fast escape at weekends and decent supermarkets for self-catering. The Bunker at Ash pulls teams towards Sandwich, Ash and Deal, or over to Canterbury for a bigger town feel and better evening options — all within fifteen minutes of the gate. We check the A256 and A2 rush-hour reality before shortlisting anywhere, because the map lies in east Kent.

Common questions — data centre accommodation in Kent
Where should a crew stay for work at The Bunker in Ash?
Sandwich, Ash and Deal are the natural bases, all within fifteen minutes of the Cyberfort facility on Marshborough Road. For longer programmes we also shortlist Canterbury, which adds restaurants and shops while keeping the drive sensible. Every option is a whole house with bills included.
Can you accommodate a team working at both Sota sites and The Bunker?
Yes — Faversham sits roughly between Kent Science Park and the Ash site, making it a workable compromise at around fifteen to twenty minutes each way. Tell us the expected split between the two locations and we will weight the shortlist accordingly.
